תמכו בגיסו, ר׳ מרדכי־זאב איטינגא (1804 — 1863)
שהיה למדן מובהק ונשיא "הכולל אוסטריה" בא״י
וגם פרסם ספרים רבים. בבחירות זכה ד יוסף־שאול
נתזון בעזרת ה של אחותו אדיל׳ שהשפיעה על הנאורים
