ההנהלה נתקלה בקשיים רבים בגלל המצבהחמרי
הקשה. מלבד החובות שרבצו על הקהילה — לישועיים
הגיע החוב 575.861 זה׳ — הוטלה על הקהילה האחריות
לגבית המסיס. הדברים הגיעו לידי סכסיכים 11) עם
השלטונות והמועצה היהודית (יודענדירעקציאן).
בשנת 1784 נתנו פרנסי־הקהילה שוחד של 130
דוקאטי לחבר המועצה יעקב־אהרן ולפקיד הנוצרי
(אקטואריוס) קוליג, כדי שיפחיתו את מכסה המסיס
שהוטלה על יהודי לבוב. הדבר נודע לגוברניון
שהתחיל בחקירה ובתוצאותיה נענש יעקב־אהרן בקנס
260 דוקאטיס והורחק מהמועצה ונשללה ממנו זכות
למשרה צבורית. הפקיד הנוצרי קוליג פוטר, וחברי
הנהלת הקהילה יוסף דוד, לייב בלבן, ירחמיאל מיזם,
אברהם ארליך, הרש לויטה, מרקוס פייגלס, יואל
בודק ואפרים שמואל נענשו בקנס 130 דוקאטיס כל
אחד. גם סופר המועצה היהודית מאיר הרשל, שקבל
מן השוחד, נקנס בסכום של 360 דוקאטיס ופוטר
ממשרתו. בהמשך החקירה נמצא שהקהילה השתמשה
בעודף 1500 פלורין של חכירת מס־הבשר ללא חשבוןConnected nodes
