... בתוך "פרוספריטי" עמלני זה, זעזעה לפתע אקציה
חדשה את יהודי לבוב, שהיתה מהסוג הנקרא אצל
הגרמנים בשם "פעולת־בזק". באמצע הקיץ, ביום ד׳ —
כנראה, ה־24 ליוני או ה־8 ליולי 1942 — התפרצה
העירה חטיבת ס.ם. המיועדת לפעולות־הר(היהודים
קראו לחטיבה זו "ראל־קאמאנדא" או "פאריניכטינגם־
קאמאנדא") ופתחה באקציה פתאומית ואכזרית,
שנמשכה רק שתיסיעשרה שעות, מ־2 אחה״צ עד 2
אחרי־חצות. את האקציה ניהלו שני קציני הסיס.
בלבוב — אנגלם, סגנו של קאצמאן ומראשי הגיסטאפו
בלבוב, וסגנו וופקא. החיילים חזרו על בתי היהודים
והוציאו משם את ,.המובטלים״, ז״א — זקנים, נשים
וטף. את הקרבנות (יש אומדים את מספרם ב־6000
עד 8000 נפש) הביאו למחנה־מעבר (דורכגאנגס־
לאגער, "דו־לאג") אשר ליד המחנה היאנובי, וכאן
המיתי םבעינויים נוראים. השמועה אמרה, שבין שאר
מיתות משונות שהיו שכיחות במעשה־הטבח האיום,
השתמשו הגרמנים בכלבים מאומנים, שהתנפלו על
קרבנותיהם וטרפום חיים • האקציה החדשה השאירה
חותם עמוק ביהודי לבוב. ...Connected nodes
