המועצה הלאומית ראתה בדאגה של רבים מן
היהודים הצטרפו לפולנים, ופנתה ב־13 במאי 1848
בכרוז מיוחד אל היהודים, בו הצביעו על העובדה
שבמאורעות האחרונים הושיטו הפולנים ליהודים יד־
אחור. וכי פולין קיבלה אותם בזרועות פתוחות
כשגורשו מגרמניה ומשאר ארצות. בפטיציה שהגישו
