"תיאודור א פלאץ". ביכנ״ס של עמלים, סוחרים זעירים
בעלי קיוסקים ודוכנים של מנופקטורה. הם התאחדו
לפי הוראת הרב ר׳ יוסף שאול נתנזון, שנתן את השם
לבית־הכנסת, כדי להתפלל וללמוד שעורים בתורה
לעזור איש לחברו, לשמור על מדות טובות ובעיקר
על מדת צדק לקונה, ככתוב: "הין צדק ואיפה צדק
יהיו לך, לא תעשה עול במשפט, במדה במשקל
