טעות היסטורית היא לחשוב שהוא יסד את העיר לבוב,

למסור להונגריה את רייסין האדומה תמורת 100.000 דוקטים.
אחרי ההסכם פלש קאזימירז לרייסין ולאחר מלחמה קצרה
כבש את לבוב וגם את כל הארץ. הבויארים התקשרו עם
הטאטרים, אולם נחלו מפלה והוכרחו להכיר בשלטונו של
