אין ידיעות על הימים הראשונים של הקלויז,
שהיה בחצר גדולה של בית הגביו החסיד ר׳ לייזר
גוטוירט, בנין הקלויז נשאר בחצרו ונעשו בו תיקונים
וקירות האולם הגדול היו מלאים ספרים עד התקרה.
הקלויז היה הומה מתפללים מאור הבוקר עד הצהרים
ותמיד היה מלא עד אפס מקום. נתכנסו בו חסידים
מכל ה״חצרות". התפללו בו בקביעות נכבדי העיר
וביניהם ר׳ הרצל רפפורט, חבר בית־דין־צדק בלבוב.
בין עסקני הקלויז וגבאייו היו הנדבן העשיר ר׳ יונה
רוזנפלד, ישראל ליברמן, ליזר גוטוירט, מאיר שיין,
שמואל־יוסל מוהל (הארט), משה אלסטר. עד לפטירתו
התפלל בקלויז בקביעות ד׳ מנדלי האדמו״ר מאלסק. ...Connected nodes
