גליציה למען עניי ארץ־ישראל, נתמנה לרב אב״ד
בפשמישל, אבל בהיותו עשיר לא היה זקוק להכנסה
מרבנות ולא חפץ לעקור דירתו מלבוב עיר־מולדתו.
בשנת תרמ״ח, אחרי פטירת רצ״ה אורנשטיין, נתמנה
לממלא־מקומו כאב״ד בלבוב. מלבד תשובות שנת-
