כדי שידעו השלטונות מספרם של עבדיהם, נדרש
ה״יודנראט" לערוך רשימה מדויקת של כל תושבי היהודים של
העיירה, וזאת מנתה 424 נפשות. אוכלוסיה זו המשיכה לגור
בבתיה שבמרכז העיירה, ברחוב הראשי וברחובות ובסימטאות
הצדדיים, ואפילו 9 המשפחות שהתגוררו בפרבר הכפרי "סטארה
סקאלה" (סקאלה הישנה) הושארו במקומותיהן. לא נוצר גיטו,
ולמעשה גם לא רובע יהודי (יודנפירטל), רק ניתן צו שאסור
ליהודים להמצא בסביבה הלא־יהודית. למען זיהויים של הבתים
היהודיים הם סומנו מאוחר יותר, באוגוסט 1942, לקראת
ה״אקציה" הגדולה המתוכננת, במגן־דוד גדול, שצויר על הקיר
החיצוני, או נתלה בחלון. ...
