למחנה והיה ברור לכל, כי לא יצליח במילוי משימה זו. לכן בא הוא
בדברים עם המפקד של "משמר הגבול" וזה (יתכן, שמיוזמתו
האישית) פקד על אנשי ה״יודנראט", ה״אורדנונגסדינסט", העזרה
הסוציאלית ועוד כמה אחרים להתייצב במפקדתו. התאספו
כחמישים איש, ופתאום הוקפנו על ידי חיילי המשמר והובלנו
בסך אל בניין העיריה. חיים יאגעט(אשר החליף לפני זמן מה את
אביו החולה יוסף יאגעט, כחבר ה״יודנראט") ניסה לברוח והרא
ירה בו ופצעו ברגלו. אדם צעיר ואמיץ זה הוצא כמובן מ״המצעד"
ועל אף פציעתו התעסק בארגון משלוח המזון למחנה, כדרכו,
