... באלול שנת תרע״ט התקיימה אסיפת רבנים בגרודנה,
בה השתתפו הרבה רבנים מן הקהילות של פלד זה. נבחר
וועד הפועל של חמשה רבנים, ביניהם הרב מסוקולקה,
שהיה מיוזמי האסיפה. באסיפה נתקבלו ההחלטות האלה:
א) לייסד מתיבתא רבתא לחניד רבנים עם ראשי ישיבה
מומחים ופידאגוגים. ב) להוציא עתון יומי לפי רוח
היהדות החרדית. ג) לכונן בית אולפנא לחניד מורים
בעלי השכלה פידאגוגית. ד) לייסד אגודת רבנים של
