בל״ג בעומר יצא הנוער לטייל אל היער שבסביבות
העיר. מהרבה, אושרם של הילדים בצאתם, בלוויית
המורים לטיול ביער. חגיגת ל״ג בעומר הטביעה רושם
בל ימחה על ילדי בית־הספר. מסדר החגיגה, התחיל
בחצר בית־הספר בסדר צבאי. אחריו הייתה, תהלוכה,
ברחובות ובה השתתפו כל ילדי בתי־הספר, בצעדם
ארבע־ארבע בשורה ושיר ציון בפיהם. וכל בני העיר,
מגדול עד קטן, צופים במצעד. כך צעדנו ברחובותיה של
סוקולקה בדרך היערה, שם בילינו יום נעים בשירה,
במשחקים, בנדנדות ובערב חזרנו הביתה מאושרים.
