בית המדרש אין די ימים־נוראים. דאס גאנצע שטעטל,
אלט און יונג זענען געגאנגען הערן דעם בעל־תפילה
און בעל־מוסף ר׳ אלתר גרניצה, וועלכער האט אנגע־
ווארפן א פחד מיט זיין הארצרייסנדע שטימע. אז ר׳
אלתר פלעגט ער ביום־כיפור זיך א שטעל טאן ביים
עמוד און א זאג טאן "אור זרוע לצדיק" פלעגן אלע
