הספרים של ר׳ יאסעלי. ר׳ יוסף נפטר זקן ושבע־ימים
בט״ו אדר א׳ שנת תרמ״ו (1886). בספר "שרגי טובא"
(ווילנה תרנ״ב) להרב ר׳ אייזיק־לייב סטוליאר שהוא
רב באודעלסק הסמוכה לסוקולקה, נמצא הספד על הרב
ר׳ יוסף, המדגיש שהוא היה "גדול בתורה וחכם במילי
דעלמא והנהיג את העיר ברוח בינתו והיה ממשכן את
