... בליל הסדר שרר מצב רוח מרומם. אור ושמחה הורגשו
בכל פנד"ק קול שירת ההגדה בקע מכל בית יהודי עד
שעה מאוחרת בלילה. השולחנות היו ערוכים כל טוב.
מצות ויין, דבש (מעד), חזרת ודגים, וכל מיני מטעמים.
האנשים פרקו מעליהם עול של דאגות ימי־חול, בליל
הסדר הרגיש עצמו כל יהודי כאילו היה "מלך". אנשי
סוקולקה דאגו גם לחיילים היהודים בצבא הפולני, וערכו
להם "סדר" בנוכחותם של חברי ועד־הקהילה, הרב
