את הפגישה עם אמי ועם אחי ואחיותי לא שכחתי ולא
אשכח כל ימי. אחי ואחיותי לא הכירוני, אמי חבקתני
ונשקתני ולא חדלה מהסתכל בי. בעליתי ארצה הייתי
עלם צעיר ורזה. מעולם לא עבדתי בבית והנה עברו
12 שנה, שנות סבל רב ועבודה קשה, במחצבות ובכבישים,
בפרדסים, ובייבוש ביצות, בבנין ובשמירה, ואנוכי
הייתי שזוף ושרירי, ועוד הרבה שינויים חלו בי. הבית
נתמלא אנשים מכל העיר. חברים וקרובים, שכנים שבאו
לראותני ולברכני, ולהשתתף בשמחת ביתנו. ואני
הרגשתי אושר שזכיתי ליום שכולו טוב, לראות את
