הרב החביב והמקובל ביותר בסוקולקה היה ר׳
יוסי ל׳ה, תלמידו של הגאון ר׳ דוד׳ל ממיר וחבר־
קרוב של הגאון הגדול, ר׳ יצחק אלחנן ספקטור מקובנה.
בשעתו יצא לו שם בלמדנותו ובצדקתו הגדולה, והיתה
לו ספריה גדולה ומדולה. הוא כיהן ברבנות בערים
שונות: בפורשטוט (של הורודנה), קרטוז־ברזה, ביטן,
סוקולקה, ובאחרונה בזבלודוב, שבה כיהן כשלושים
שנה ונפטר בשנת תר״פ, בערך. בכל מקום כהונתו
התיחסו אליו גם הנוצרים ביראת־כבוד, ולעתים קרובות
היו באים אליו לשאול עצתו בעניניהם והיו נשמעים
להצעותיו. אגדות שונות ענדו לראשו יהודים ונוצרים,
והיו מספרים עליו נפלאות. ביחוד היה מראה חיבה
לנערי ה״חדרים", ובימי שבתות היה הולך לחדרים לבחון
את הנערים ו״לצבוט על לחייהם". על קברו בבית־
העלמין הישן בזבלודוב הקימו אוהל. ...Connected nodes
