והובא למנוחות במעמד כל אנשי העיר. ביום ר׳ אדר א׳ תרצ״ה, בליל
שבת בשבת וליד שולחנו אחרי סעודתו, נפטר לעולמו. הניח תשעה
בנים חסידים ויראי השם ועסקנים מפורסמים. רובם ניספו בעת
השואה, בהם בנו ר׳ מנדל שישב על כסאו ברבנות אחרי פטירתו.
