•ולד בבנדין, תרס״ב (1902) — ניספה בשואה בפולין.
^משחר ילדותו נתחנך ברוח המזרחי. בן שש עשרה נמנה עם
מייסדי סניף ״צעירי מזרחי״ בבנדין — אחד הסניפים הראשונים
של ארגון זה בפולין — ושימש שנים רבות מזכיר הסניף. תודות
למרצו נתארגנו סניפי התנועה בכל הקהילות היהודיות שבאזור
זגלמביה. השתתף בכל הוועידות והכינוסים של "צעירי מזרחי"
ובשנת תרצ״ג (1933) נבחר להנהלה הארצית של תנועת "תורה
ועבודה" בפולין. היה גם חבר המשרד המרכזי של "החלוץ המזרחי"
בפולין. היה ממחוללי רעיון העצמאות, ומארגני הקבוצה שביקשה
לגבש את תנועת "תורה ועבודה" כתנועה עצמאית ובלתי תלויה
מבחינה ארגונית ב״מזרחי". השתתף כציר בכמה קונגרסים ציוניים,
פרט לעבודתו בתנועה היה פעיל בחיי הקהילה בבנדין. נלקח באחד
