הראשון שהופיע עוד בזמן השלטון הרוסי־הצארי בפולין בשם
היהודים ודרש זכויות בשבילם. כשקמה פולין לתחיה הוא היה
נציג יהודי בנדין והסביבה כלפי השלטונות הפולניים. בבחירות
הראשונות למועצת העיר עמד בראש הרשימה היהודית, נבחר
ותפס עמדה חשובה בעבודתה של עירית בנדין. הוא היה המורה
לדור העסקנים הצעירים בעיר, לא נטש אף בימי הנאצים, אם־
