צעירי־ציון בבנדין ונבעו חילוקי־דעות, שבעטיים התגבשו שני
גושים: "שמאליים", כלומר אלה שהכירו בעקרונות הסוציאליזם
(והיו הרוב בסניף), שנספחו מעתה לתנועת "צעירי־ציון הסו־
ציאליסטים" (צ. ס.), ו״הימניים" שנצטרפו למפלגת העבודה הציונית
״התאחדות״, שנוסדה ב־1920. מעטים חזרו לצור־מחצבתם —
למסגרת הציונים הכלליים, שראו בעין רעה את ה״הפיכה"
שהתחוללה בצעירי ציון, קטרגו נגדם ושללו מהם את המועדון
