עולה חמילגיק. היה זה לא עולה סתם אלא אחד מחשובי

מחמילניק״, שבשנת 1830 הוא חתם יחד עם אחרים על האגרת
שניתנה לשליח החסידים בצפת לר׳ ראובן׳ מצאצאי ר׳
מרדכי מארדוט׳ אב״ד בפאריצק שיצא לאירופה לאסוף
כספים1/ ר׳ משה שמעון װלף זה היה חלוץ או אחד מחלוצי
העליה של חמילגיק שעלו בהשפעת רעױן החסידות׳ התישב
בצפת ועםק בענין ישוב ארץ־ישראל ובקױם הישוב היהודי
והגדלתו ע״י גױם עזרה מן החוץ. על חלוץ חמילניק זה
