שפעם בשביעי של פםח׳ בשעה שנכבדי העיר וחםידיה ישבו
אצל הרב ושמחו בצװתא כדרך החסידים׳ ואף התלכדו לרקוד
מלא התלהבות, נכנס בחשאי אחד מאנשי הכת לחדר ילדי
הרב והוריק את חבית המים על מטות הילדים הקטנים. לא
ידועים התוצאות המזיקות של פעולת עריצים זו על הילדיב.
אך השפעת מאורע זה נשארה בוכרון תושבי העיר זמן רב.
