הכרגו את פרויקה כשהצטרף לקבוצתנו בתנועה, רוח חדשה ההלה
לנשב עם הצטרפותו. התקרב ל״נוער העובד״, לאידיאלים חלוצײם
והגשמתם. אזכור אותו מעמד בו התיצב ואמר שרוצה לצאת להכשרה
אתנו — עם הגרעין שהתארגן בתוך הקבוצה החינוכית, לשנתײם.
פרויקה היה כנה ומציאותי והשתוקק להכיר היטב את צורת החײם
החדשר״ לקראתה הלכנו. קיבלנוהו אז כ״מפוקפק״, כאדב שיצא למלא
רק שנתײם שרות ללאום. אולם פרויקה התאהב ממש בצורת החײם
הקבוצתית, התגלה בביטחונו העצמי, בקנאותו לגרעין ולרעױן החײם
השיתופײם. עוד לפני צאתו להכשרה עסק בהרמת קרן התרבות בגרעױ
והצליח במשימה זו, בתוכנױתױ השונות והמצאותױ העליזות, ביחוד
בשטח המוםיקלי, במסיבות שזוכרים אותן עד הױם. הכרנו לדעת את
נפשו היקרר״ את לבו הפתוח, דברױ הגלוײם, והיה, אם רצית לפרקים
