מטר מבית־הכנםת, הוקם לפני כמאה שנה בידי ראש הקהל
דאז ר׳ ישראל גוטמן, ונקרא בשם ״בית המדרש הפשוט״,
כי מיםדױ ומתפללױ לא הױ חםידים, ומה שלא היה חםידי
ניקרא בשם ״פשוט״. היה זה בנין גדול ױפה שבו היו
משתמשים לעגיני קדושה שוגים, החל בתפילד״ לימוד, אמירת
תהלים בצבור, עריכת שולחנות לצדיקי החסידים, דרשות
של מגידים והרצאות נואמים של מפלגות הציונים• והױ
בו אגפים אחדים, בנין הקהלד״ ישיבד״ עזרת נשים, שתי
