בדרכגו חזרה, פגשה בתי בקצין גרמני והתפתהה שיחה בין
השנײם. בתי םיפרה לו על מקרה החרמת הדירה וביקשה את
עזרתו. בחשבו שהיא פולניד״ ניםה לעזור לד״ אולם משגודע
לו כי היא יהודיד״ הודיע כי לא ױכל לעזור לה במאומה ולבםוף
הפנה אותה לממונה על ההחרמות מטעם העיריה. אחרי שיחה
שהיתה לבתי עם הממונה על ההחרמות׳ הורה למזלנו לדײדי
הבית לפנות מײד את הדירה ולהחזירה לנו. כעבור ױם פונתה
