עמדנו בקשר עם הועדים המרכזיים. כל חוזר שהיה מתקבל היכה גלים חדשים בנפשנגו
הסוערת, התוססת והכמהה לפעולה לאומית. מפעם לפעם היה מבקר בעיירה שליח מטעם המרכז,
אינסטרוקטור, בלשוננו אז והיה מאורע חשוב בחיינו. כל מעיינינו היו להרבות באספות; להגדיל
תעמולה, להאדיר פומבי, לכבוש את דעת הקהל ולמשוך אותו לצידנו. זה היה ראש כל מטרה וחפץ.
