הצעיר ביותר בעיירתנו ובתנועה הציונית כולה. נימנו עמו ילדי כיתה א': ילדי הגן וגם ילדים
בני 4 שטרם ביקרו בגן. חברי הארגון העברים הפעוטים שמרו אמונים לשפה העברית. סירבו
לדבר באידיש. ומעשה באחת האמהות שהפצירה בילדתה בת ה-4 שתדבר לפחות עם סבתא אידיש,
שהרי סבתא אינה, מבינה עברית, השיבה הקטנטונת : אמא, איך יכולה אני לדבר אידיש ? הרי
נשבעתי לדבר רק עברית. גם החנוונים, לרבות חנויות הממתקים, שבעליהן היו גויים, נזקקו לשפה
