קראגן א דערלויבניש צו עפענען א שולע פאר ײדישע ײנג־
לעך, און די רעגירונג האט אראפגעשיקט א רוסישן לערער.
אבער ער איז געבליבן אן א שטאף ארבעט, װײל קײן ספע־
ציעלער בניּן פאר דער שולע איז ניט געװען. װי ס׳זעט אויס,
האבן די דראהיטשינער ײדן נאך געהאלטן פון ״שקאלעס
ניע זשעלאיעם״ (מיר פארלאנגען ניט קײן שולעס), און גע־
געבן דעם פארצוג די אלטמאדישע חדרים. אבער סוף־כל־
סוף איז אין 1885 געעפנט געװארן די שולע מיט 52 ײנג־
