האט דאן מער צײט אפצוגעבן זיך מיט קהל׳שער ארבעט.
ער איז געװען דער בעל־ױעץ פון הרב קאלענקאװיטש, טאן־
געבער אויף אלע שטאטישע אםיפות; בורר אץ אויסגלײכער
פון פארשײדענע מחלוקת׳ן װעגן ירושזת, שידוכים א.א.:
שתדלן פאר די װאס זײנען געקומען אין קאנפליקט מיט דער
מאכט; לאנג־יעריקער גבאי פון אלטן בית־מדרש; איבער־
געגעבענער עסקן און נדבן פארן ״ועד־הישיבות״: מכניס־
אורח און בעל־צדקה בםתר וכדומה. ר׳ זושע האט פארקער־
פערט אין זיך דעם ײדישן טיפ שתדלן און פרנס פון די אלטע
צײטן. דאס זעלבע חאט אויך געטאן זײן פרוי חיה־פרײדע,
װעלכע פלעגט העלפן ארעמע שטילערהײד, ןארײבשיקנדי ק
