שװדיה (הם באו בראשית המאה ה־18 לפי הזמנת הקונפרנציה של השליכטה שהתנגדה
למלך הנ״ל) כבש את לוקוב וגרם נזקים רבים. והצרות באו כמובן הן מן השװדים והן
מן הפולנים. כך שיהודי לוקוב עברו הרבה זעזועים פוליטײם והתחלקו במנת המרורים
