השיגה העיריה, במשפטה נגד הסיטונא־־ם היהודים
דוד השלם ויצחק (מברודי) החלטת בית־
הדין 12) של פודוויבודה שהוטל עליהם בתאריך מסוים,
למכור את כל מלאי האריגים או להוציאם מלבוב שלא
יעיזו עוד להביא אריגים ולמכור לפי אמות בעיר או
בפרברים. תביעתם לאסור על היהודים כל סחר־ומכר
נדחתה ע״י ביורהדין בנימוק, שהיהודים עמוסי חובות
ויש לאפשר להם לסלקם. וכי איסור המסחר יגרום
נזק למיסדרים ולבעלי־חוב של היהודים. ודוקא אז
קנו יהודי לבוב בירידי ברודי אריגי־משי, פנינים,
אלמוגים וסחורות־מזרח, והיו נוסעים וחוזרים בערים
