האי־כּת החוזה. גם היהודים לא נחו ולא שקטו ולבסוף,
ב־3 ביולי 1653, אישר הקנצלר, הפרילט רוזיצקי, את
החוזה, למרות השתדלות העירונים. ב־29 בספטמבר
1653, הוזמנו פרנסי הקהילה אל העיריה, וקבלו
הודעה שעל היהודים אסדר כל מסחר בעורות סוחתיון
(סאפיאן) פרנסי הקהילה התנגדו לאיסור בתוקף
רב. נציגי היהודים באותו מעמד היו: ר׳ יצחק בן
אברהם כץ, אהרן בן צבי סגל מעשקיש, יקותיאל
