מכיסי סכומים ושלם גם רבית לאצילים פולניים, דומיניקנים
ולכמרים אחרים. אחרי שכהונתו כפרנס הסתיימה תבע את
הקהילה לדין וקיבל פסק דין שעל הקהילה לשלם את כל
הסכומים שהוציא ביחד עם הרבית. אולם פרנסי הקהילה
לא קיימו את פסק־הדין אלא להפך דרשו ממנו שישלם
את המגיע למס הקהילה וניכו מחובו רק 50 זהובים.
וכשסירב לשלם לקחו ממנו משכונות. ר׳ יעקב קאפיל
הגיש ערעור לועד הגליל שהתכנס בסטרליסק בשנת תס״ח
(1708) והוא אישר את פסק הדין של הרב בלבוב "חייב
את האלופים ומנהיגי דק״ק לבוב לשלם את החוב והרבית".Connected nodes
