(1792 — 1831) מצאצאי משפחה מיוחסת ועשירה, שבניה
נמנו על למדניה, ראשיה ומנהיגיה של הקהלה בלבוב
וגם בועד־הגליל. יהודה־ליב לא נטש את מלחמתו
ושנאתו לחסידות ולא נרתע גם ממעשי מלשינות,
ביחוד אחרי החרם על משכילי לבוב, ברודי וטרנופול.
בשנאתו לחסידות השפיע עליו הרבה יוסף פרל
שהתידד אתו והיה מתארח בביתו בזמן בקוריו בלבוב.
בעמדו בקשרים עם השלטונות היתה ידו ברדיפות
נגד קוליקוב ומודלינגר בענין אסוף־הכספים לעניי
ארץ־ישראל. בשנים 1823 — 1825 הגיש מיזס ושני
משכילים אחרים — מרקוס הילר ומשה ראבה,
קובלנות אל שלטונות לבוב על הקהלה שנתנוConnected nodes
