1856. במסעו מאנגליה לרוסיה לחג הפסח 1904, התעכב
בלבוב ונתמנה לחזן ביהכ״ג בחוץ־לעיר, ושם נשאר
עד שנת 1911 חזר לפיי בקשת קהלת רובנה (ולפיכך
נקרא "רובנר") ונשאר שם חזן כשלוש שנים. אחר־
