נהרס מספר הבתים בגיטו וליהודים לא היה פשוט
מקום לגור בו. מסחר היהודים הלך וגדל והיה מחסור
במחסנים וחנויות. אכן, בשנת 1708 קבעה הבקורת
שנעשתה ע״י השלטונות, כי שוק־העיר (רינעק) ואפילו
בית המלך (מס׳ 10) בכלל, מלא חנויות של יהודים
ולא רק בחצרות אלא גם בחזית הבתים. ברחוב רוסקא
