הדברים של הסופרים היהודים, ונתמנה למנהל הספרותי
של שידורי רדיו לבוב בשפה האידית. האופירה שחיבר
— ״האופירה של יהודי״ (״די יודנס־אפערע״) —
נתקבלה להצגה ע״י התיאטרון המלכותי בקיוב. בפרוץ
המלחמה הרוסית־גרמנית ברח קאציזנע מלבוב, אבל
לכשהגיע לסביבות טרנופול התנפלו עליו האוקראינים
