מרדכי י* ובינשטיין הנ״ל, הציע בשנת תקס״ז
(1807) את בקשתו לפני הממשלה, כי תתן לו אגרת־
זכות לפתוח ביודדפוס׳ מפני שהוא למד, בשכבּר
הימים׳ אומנות הדפוס ומלאכת הסדור בעיר ברסלא.
דברי הבקשה הזאת ותכנה הגיעו לאזני מדפיסי לבוב,
הר׳ אהרן מדפים והר׳ נפתלי הירץ גרויסמן, שהלשינו
על ר׳ אורי בקובלנה, כי דבריו בשקר יסודם ולא
למד מעודו מלאכת הדפוס בעיר ברסלא. למרות כל
זאת ידע ר׳ אורי להשתדל והממשלה נעתרה לבקשתו
ותאשר לו בשנת תקס״ח (7 לפברואר 1808) כתב־
זכות, וכעבור ירחים מספר כבר החל בהדפסת מסכתות
לתועלת התלמידים וגם ספרים אחרים. כעבור שנה
תמימה ראה כי צר לו המקום, אולי בגלל התחרות
המדפיסים האחרים׳ וביקש להעביר את דפוסו לעיר ...Connected nodes
