בזלוצוב, מחשובי העסקנים בתנועת הקואופרציה
הצרכנית היהודית בגליציה, חבר מועצת המפלגה של
הציונים הכלליים בגליציה. בפקודת השלטונות הגר-
מנים קיבל על עצמו את הנהלת הענינים ב״מועצת
היהודים" בזלוצוב. במעשי הקרבה עצמית, בעמידתו
הגאה כלפי הרוצחים הגרמנים והאוקראינים כאחד,
קידש את השם. העידו על זאת הניצולים המעטים
