... העיריה התחמקה בתחילה מלהופיע לפני הועדה
בנימוק, שהחוק המגדבורגי משחרר את העירונים
משיפוט זה. לסוף הסכימה העיריה להגיש את
הפריבילגיות. היהודים הגישו את תקנות המלך
קאזימיר ז יאגילונציק משנת 1453 ושל זיגמונט 1
משנת 1515, שלפיהן הותר להם לסחור בכל הממלכה
לפי המנהגים הקדומים. נציגיהם טענו גם שהגבלת
מסחרם מזיקה לכל רייסין ובפרט לאצילים. הועדה
הכירה כי טענות היהודים הן צודקות והגישה למלך
ארבע הצעות, שהעמידו את היהודים על הזכויות. הוות ־
דעת הועדה נשלחה בנובמבר 1590 והעיריה הגישה
