חלק מן האוכלוסיה היהודית לכפרים, וע״י כך יחוזק
הגורם הגרמני, שגם השלטונות מייחסים לכך חשיבות
רבה. הנציבות (פילרסדורף ווזאלסקי) צרפה מכתב־
לוי לפטיציה בו אישרה את "התנהגותם הפטריוטית"
של האוכלוסיה היהודית ועזרתה המלאה במאורעות
והמליצה להעניק ליהודים את ההקלות שבקשו.
