באוקטובר 1848, פרצו מהומות בוינה, בהן נהרגו מן
היהודים: אדולף קאלינסקי, עמנואל אפשטיין, דוד
לב. המהומות גרמו למצור וינה ומהפכה נגדית של
הפלדמרשל הנסיך ווינדשגרץ. הפרלמנט עבר לקראמזיר
