הציונים בלבוב. הנשארים מחת למסגרת "אגודת
ישראל" היו בעיקר חסידי־בלז, שהתרכזו ב״חדשים".
היתה קיימת בעיר גם חברה "אחדות ישראל". בשנות
העשרים ישבו בועד־הקהלה הממונה, גם מתבוללים,
ציונים וגם נציגי "המזרחי" ו״אגודת ישראל". בו בזמן
נוסדה חברת "מחזיקי לימוד" בה ניתנו שיעורי־עדב
