התיעצות נציגי המפלגות שביקשנו לקיים — לא יצאה אל
הפועל. באפריל או במאי 1940, היתה פגישה — וללא תוצאות —
עם כמה מחברי היודנראט, בהשתתפות ויגודזקי, מנלה, לוני
דנר ולסקר, משה אופנהיים (הפועל המזרחי), סובקובס-
קי, צוקרקנדל (פועלי ציון), דוד ליור, ישראל גרטלר
והחו״מ (התאחדות) — מולצ׳אדזקי סירב להשתתף. אפיינית
היתד, טענתו של האחרון: "בזמן מלחמה אין ציונות". הוא לא
רצה כלל בויכוח צבורי בנושא זה. נתייאשתי מכל אפשרות של
השפעה עליו (על אחדים השפענו במידת־מה), לפי שידענו אפילו
החלש עוד מתקופת פעילותו לפני המלחמה בקרן הקיימת ותמיד,
בכל מערכה ויכוח מצטרף היה לצד החזק נגד החלש, והנה, עתה
נתמנה הוא על ידי מרין למחלקת העזרה הסוציאלית ביודנראט
