בגיטו בנדין עבד בבית־חרושת, ואחר־כך עבר עם הוריו למחנה "נתיני חח לארץ" בגרמניה. בתום מלחמת העולם נפרד מהוריו, עלה לארץ באנית המעפילים "תליחי" ב־28.3.1946. בארץ עבד בבניין והיה לטפסן. בשעות שלאחר העבודה המשיך לימודיו. למד אדריכלות. היה חבר ה״הגנה", ועם פיח מלחמודהשחרור השתתף בהגנת ירושלים, תחילה בשירות רפואי ואחר־כך בחיל־התותחנים. בגלל היותו בן יחיד לא נשלח לקרבות, אולם אך הגיעה הקריאה לעזרת ישוב עברי — לא היסס ויצא להחיש התחמושת. ובקרב, בדרך לראש־העין, נפצע ובו ביום, י׳ תמוז תשי״ח, 17.7.48, מת בפצעיו. נקבר בבית הקברות הצבאי בנחלת־יצחק. ...Connected nodes
