לארץ־ישראל, אך מחמת מחלה קשה נאלץ לעזוב את הארץ. חזר
לבנדין והצטרף לתנועתנו, בה נתבלט מיד כחבר מסור בכל לבו
ונפשו. אף שהיה תמיד חולני, שפע חיים, גם בימיו הקשים ביותר.
