סרט הלימוד השפה העברית בשעורי־הערב, אין להצביע על
שום מעשה חיובי ממשי של "תרבות" בבנדין. שעורי־ערב אלה,
שמחבר הרשימה הזאת פעל למענם במיטב יכולתו, — הצלחה
רבה היתד. להם, וביחוד בשנות העליה הגדולה לארץ ישראל.
מאות צבאו על פתחיהם, אך לא היה בידנו לספק רצון כולם
מחמת תנאי־הדיור הגרועים. רק לאחר שהואילה הנהלת בית־
הספר "יבנה" למסור לנו מדי ערב בערב לשעות אחדות כמה
מכתותיה, הורחבה מסגרתנו, ופתחנו דלתותינו לרווחה לכל המשתוקק
ללמוד עברית. ואלה הם המורים שלימדו בשעורי־הערב ופעלו
