שמורכבת הייתה בעלי־אחוזות ואמידי העיר, כינסה אספה באולם
ה״דאם פולסקי", שעל ה״גורא זמקובא" למען ההשתתפות בבחירות.
בפתע נשמע קול התפוצצות וכל הנאספים ברחו כל עוד נפשם בהם.
בפעולה הזאת השתתפו גם אנשי פועלי־ציון, ואחד מהם, שהצטיין
