ועמקות יחד עם ניתוח ישר ושכלי. הללו הצטיינו בהתמדתם
ובשנינותם, נאמנותם וישרם. המורה הגדול טבע חותמו על
תלמידיו, חותם האמת וחיפוש האמת ותיעוב השקר וכל סברה
והבנה רחוקה מהאמת. שיטת הלימוד בסוכצ׳וב נתרחקה מהפלפול
המהודר שהיה נהוג בפולין במשך דורות רבים < ומאידך לא
הזדהתה עם ההתעמקות המופרזת בסוגיה הלכתית מסויימת, תוך
הזנחת הלימוד בסוגיות אחרות. ר׳ אברהם העדיף את העיון
וההתעמקות החריפה רק כדי לברר את ההלכה למעשה. הוא חתר
להגיע לאמת שבסברה ולא לחידוד היפה שבבעיה. בכך תרם
ר׳ אברהם במשך דור שלם את חלקו המכריע להאדרת התורה
